30 alpacas ยท 30 days ยท one small payment

Send someone an alpaca.
Every day. For a month.

Pick a person. We'll then send them a hand-picked alpaca every morning for thirty days. The alpacas have not agreed to this and would like that noted.

One payment. No subscription. One-click opt-out.

How it works

Three steps. Thirty alpacas.

01

Nominate your person

Tell us who's getting the alpacas. A friend, a foe, or simply yourself. Add a note and take the credit, or stay anonymous. We won't ask why.

02

Let them know

Know their email? We'll send the invitation for you. Haven't the foggiest? Take a link and send it to them and let them open their generous gift.

03

Release the alpacas

Once the gift is opened, an alpaca turns up every single morning, never the same one twice, until the month runs out. Nothing else for you to do.

Know your recipient

Who are you buying for?

The One With Too Much Hair Product

They have views on texture. They have a routine. They are about to spend a month being quietly outclassed by an animal that lives in a field and has never once been to a salon.

The One Who Thinks They're Above This

They said the pug thing was silly. They will receive thirty photographs of an animal with exactly their facial expression, and somewhere around day nine they will start forwarding them to other people.

The Deserving

It's you. Nobody else was going to, and quite frankly, you deserve it. Put your own name in the box. We won't mention it, and neither will the alpacas.

We serve all three, without judgement. The alpacas do not. ๐Ÿฆ™

Day 4. He has made his assessment.

He came over to the fence, looked at the camera for some time, and left. Nothing was communicated and yet the meaning was perfectly clear.

Questions

You've got questions.

Is this a joke?+

It might seem it, but no, we're deadly serious. It is a real service that really does send a real alpaca to a real person, every day, for a month.

How does it actually reach them?+

When they open your gift link they choose where their alpacas should turn up, from email to WhatsApp.

Can they make it stop?+

Every single alpaca carries a one-click opt-out. We didn't want to do that, but our lawyers told us we had to (Boo!). If they use it, the alpacas stop immediately. But really, who wouldn't want to see an alpaca every morning for a month?

Will they know it's from me?+

Only if you'd like them to know. They'll receive the gift with your name and a personalised message. You can also go entirely anonymous, and we won't ask why.

Will they get the same alpaca twice?+

No. Thirty days, thirty distinct alpacas. We keep a register. We take this extremely seriously, which is by some distance the funniest part.

Is it a subscription?+

No. You pay once, it runs its course, and then it stops. No card kept on file, no auto-renewal, no dark patterns. Just alpacas, then silence.

Can I schedule it to start on a birthday?+

Yes. Choose the start date and the first alpaca will land on the morning of. Nothing says 'many happy returns' like a month of being looked at.

Do they spit?+

At each other, mostly, and usually over food. At people, rarely, and generally with cause. None of this can happen to you through an email, which is the safest possible way to enjoy an alpaca.

Is an alpaca the same as a llama?+

No, and mixing them up is the single fastest way to annoy anyone who keeps either. Alpacas are the smaller, fluffier one, with short spear-shaped ears and a squashed face buried in fleece. Llamas are bigger, with long banana ears and a proper muzzle, and they are the ones people are thinking of when they mention the spitting. We send alpacas.
